I’ve been working on a project for the past few weeks involving OpenID and oAuth, so it seemed like fate that the latest Sydney Architecture User Group presentation was on exactly that topic. I enjoyed getting an holistic view of OpenID and oAuth although I had already come to grips with most of the concepts.
I was expecting a more code orientated run through, highlighting pitfalls etc, but in retrospect I should have had some technical questions lined up beforehand if I wanted that depth. Lewis Benge was quite knowledgeable on the questions he fielded.
I’ll be releasing a slice of my project in the next week. While developing it I had an idea for a funny implementation using Linkedin.
For those Sydney siders interested in attending the next User Group meeting, you can find details here: http://thesaug.org/
